When I started TheGearedInvestor.com in July 2008 I had two goals that I wanted to accomplish with this site. My first goal was to be able to create this site at all because I had no prior coding knowledge. Many sleepless nights later I have completely coded every line of this website myself; something I am very proud of.
My second goal was to continue my personal forex journey and self-education while trying to help others to grow as traders from my experiences. I did not create this website to make money. If you’ve ever run a blog or a website, you understand that I nowhere make even close to enough to cover my hosting fees from ad revenue, let alone bring home any money. This site is plain and simply put a way for me to chronicle my trades, while helping some other people learn my method.
There has never been a time in my life that I have not learned from whom I have surrounded myself by. This holds true for my family, my college teammates, my laboratory colleagues, etc. I have witnessed the power of group learning and input, and I want this to be a collaborative environment where I can build a relationship with readers.
So are my signals 100% free? Yes. Will I win 100% of the time? No. Will we all become better traders because of my successes and failures? Yes. That is the point of this website. It’s not some get rich quick site. So comment frequently, contact me on Twitter with questions and comments, and let’s crack this game together.
